Spellbinders | Poinsettia Blooms How-To. Video

POINSETTIA BLOOMS DETAILS
This is a two-piece die set – there’s a shadow die (which I like to cut from vellum or skip) and a main die that cuts the poinsettia itself. The main die cuts both the outline and the leaves/petals. I like to cut the outline from Mirror Gold cardstock (or any other specialty metallic paper) and the leaves/petals from white and color with alcohol markers or colored cardstock and ink blend using inks.
I die cut several poinsettias and created a partial background over a foiled sentiment. The card base here was made from red cardstock to match all the red on the front.
