Hello friends, and welcome back! Today I’m very excited to introduce something special – my new Everyday City Holiday collection, created in collaboration with Spellbinders.

If you’ve been following along for a while, you might remember the original City Holiday die set I released last year. It was inspired by the apartment building where I live, and it quickly became one of my favorite designs, and yours, too. I received so many thoughtful messages, ideas, and suggestions from you after that release, and this new collection is a direct result of that feedback.

EVERYDAY CITY HOLIDAY COLLECTION BY SPELLBINDERS – MAY 2026

The Everyday City Holiday collection was designed as an add-on to the original City Holiday die set. The goal was simple: take a die set that was created for Christmas and turn it into something you can use all year long.

To make that happen, I focused on adding versatility – new shapes, new details, and new ways to tell stories through your cards.

One of the biggest requests I received was for rectangular windows. The original set included arched windows (just like the ones in my apartment), but many of you wanted more variety. So in this collection, you’ll find rectangular window dies along with coordinating curtain options.

Now you can mix and match window styles and create completely different looks depending on your design. You’ll find those in the Everyday Windows, Curtains, and Flower Boxes die set.

Another addition I’m especially excited about is the awnings. There are several styles included – both for individual windows and a larger version for the storefront window on the first floor.

These instantly transform your building into a little shop, café, or boutique.

And of course, I couldn’t resist adding flower boxes. These come in different sizes to match the windows, along with floral elements and greenery, so you can create seasonal looks – spring blooms, summer arrangements, or even something more muted for fall. You can find those in the Everyday Awnings Etched die set.

All of these elements work together to give your buildings personality and charm. You’re no longer limited to a holiday scene – you can create everyday moments, cozy streets, and little snapshots of city life.

SENTIMENTS THAT FIT YOUR SCENE

This collection also includes a BetterPress sentiment set with coordinating dies. One of my favorite features is that the sentiments are designed to fit perfectly inside the large window from the original City Holiday die.

This allows you to turn that window into a focal point – think of it as a storefront display, a gallery window, or even a little message from inside the home.

Of course, you can also use these sentiments anywhere on your card, but having that “window fit” option opens up so many creative possibilities.

A NOTE ABOUT THE ORIGINAL SET

Since this is an add-on collection, you will need the original City Holiday die set to build the base structure of the building. The add-ons are designed to expand and enhance that foundation – giving you more flexibility and many more design options.
