CARD DETAILS – KIT ONLY
I started working on my first card using just the kit contents by stamping sentiment, Happy Autumn, in Crimson ink onto white 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ cardstock panel. Next, I used alcohol marker friendly ink and stamped winter cherry images and maple leaves filling in the background and forming a pattern.
I used Copic markers for some quick and easy coloring. I used the following colors:
- R89, R27 and R24
- YR18, YR15 and Y15
- YG67, YG17 and YG03
I adhered my colored panel onto an A2 white card base and embellished this card using a little gold glitter enamel heart from my stash.

CARDS DETAILS – KIT ADD ONS
For my next card I used Textured Leaves stamp set to stamp the background and a sentiment You Bring Color to my World from the kit. I love to use Hero Arts ombre ink pads with solid images, so here I used 4 different ombre pads to create this background.
I used Ombre Green, Red, Autumn and Serengeti. All have fabulously rich colors, perfect for Autumn. Unlike my previous card, I overlapped a lot of my stamped images for fallen leaves look.
I heat embossed sentiment in white onto black paper, trimmed into a banner and foam mounted onto my stamped background which in turn was adhered onto an A2 white card base. Lastly, I added several drops in clear.
My next card idea combines both a background stamp and individual leaf stamp. I first heat embossed Patterned Lanterns Bold Prints background in Gold Glitter embossing powder onto kraft paper.
Next, using my mini MISTI tool I stamped leaves using ombre Autumn ink pad over the embossed background. I made sure to stamp each leaf multiple times for the best ink transfer and also heat embossed leaf images in Clear embossing powder.
To create a sentiment I gold heat embossed Autumn Greetings onto kraft paper and foam mounted sentiment strip onto my card (I trimmed my background to 4 x 5 1/4″ and adhered it onto an A2 white card base).
For my last card for today I used same Textured Leaves stamps and emboss resist technique. I clear heat embossed leaf images on kraft paper (I didn’t clean my stamps and therefore ended up having slight ink transfer).
Next, I used same ombre inks as before but this time blended the ink onto my panel. To create a sentiment I used 2 older sets from Hero – Holiday Messages and Tags and Thanksgiving Table.
