My Favorite Spellbinders September 2026 Club Kits. Video

Hello, friends! The Spellbinders September 2026 Clubs are here, and this month is all about fall!  September’s clubs are filled with beautiful autumn imagery – colorful leaves, pumpkins, sunflowers, woodland critters, Thanksgiving sentiments, and plenty of designs that can be mixed and matched for fall cardmaking.

Today I’m sharing a closer look at some of my favorite September clubs, along with several cards I’ve already created. If you’re not currently a Spellbinders Club member, the September Clubs are now available for new members to join.

SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH

Let’s begin with possibly the cutest little character this month – the Small Die of the Month. The star of this set is an adorable layered owl. Spellbinders does character dies so well because the individual pieces make it easy to customize your character with multiple cardstock colors.

Along with the owl, the set includes a tree stump that can be assembled from different colors of cardstock. But what really makes this set useful for fall cardmaking is all the additional elements. There are little mushrooms, several beautiful fall leaves, plus a moon and stars for creating a night sky.

For my card, I positioned the owl on top of the tree stump and scattered the leaves along one side of the design. I arranged them so they look as though they’re blowing into the scene from a tree just outside the card. It’s a very simple way to create movement without needing an actual tree on the card.

Design Tip: When creating a scene with falling leaves, avoid spacing every leaf evenly. Vary the angle, direction, and distance between them. The irregular placement makes the leaves feel much more natural.

The moon and stars also give this die set another direction entirely. Switch to a darker background and create an autumn night scene with the owl sitting beneath the moon.

And because leaves are such a classic motif, you’ll be able to mix these with plenty of other fall products already in your stash.

LARGE DIE OF THE MONTH

Next is probably my favorite club this month – the Sunflowers and Showers Large Die of the Month. This is a packed die set. There are so many pieces that I didn’t even use everything on my card, and you can take the individual elements in several different directions.

The set is designed around an A2 card, which you can see particularly well with the fence. But don’t let that limit you. Repeat the fence pieces or extend the scene, and you can easily adapt these dies for a larger card.

One of the largest elements is a beautiful tree. You can create the tree with colorful leaves for an early autumn scene, or leave the branches bare for a completely different late-fall look. There’s also a grass die that creates a horizon line for building your scene.

Next, create the girl. This is where the set gets especially fun because she can actually become an interactive element. The die-cut includes an opening that allows the legs to move. Add a small foam circle or square within that opening, and the legs can swing from side to side, creating the illusion that she’s walking or dancing.

I love details like this because you can create the exact same scene twice – one card with a static character and another with an interactive character – and they’ll feel completely different. The umbrella is another standout element. It’s large enough to become a focal point even without the girl, which immediately gives you more ways to use the set.

Stash-Stretching Tip: Whenever you have a large accessory die that’s intended to accompany a character, try removing the character from the equation. Ask yourself whether that accessory could become the focal point of an entirely different card.

The umbrella absolutely can. You could pair it with a rain-themed sentiment, flowers, clouds, or even use it on a spring card rather than an autumn project.

ALL CLUBS CREATE EXCLUSIVE & BONUS DIES

If you love the monthly Spellbinders Clubs and want all eight, the All Clubs Create membership bundles them together and also includes bonus and exclusive products.

The exact bonus and exclusive items vary from month to month. For September, both are die sets, and I created a separate card with each one to show how much you can do with the dies included.

FALL FOX CARD

First up is this wonderful fox. Along with the fox, you get another sunflower, a smaller flower, mushrooms, and a ground element with little pieces of grass. Compare these elements with the Small and Large Die Clubs, and you’ll notice that they’re not simply duplicates. The mushrooms are different. The sunflower is another size.

That means subscribing to multiple clubs gives you coordinating elements that can be mixed together rather than multiple versions of exactly the same product.

Layer two sunflower petal die-cuts together to create an even fuller flower.

Then imagine combining the fox with the owl from the Small Die Club. Add some mushrooms, leaves, and flowers and you could create an entire woodland scene.

TOO MUCH TURKEY

The other September die set is wonderfully named Too Much Turkey. For this card, place the large turkey in the center and keep the rest of the composition relatively simple. Add some basic ink blending, a few gems, and the sentiment: “Grateful, thankful, and extra full.”

Sometimes a character has enough personality that it doesn’t need an elaborate scene around it. This turkey definitely qualifies.

SPELLBINDERS CLUB MEMBER BENEFITS

There are also several reasons you might choose to subscribe rather than purchase past Club products individually later. For me, one of the biggest Club perks is Early Access. Spellbinders launches new arrivals each month, and Club members are able to begin shopping those products before the general release.

September has some especially fun new collections coming, including new add-ons for my City Holiday dies.

There are two new die sets plus sentiments. One includes a large bow and ivy that can be added to the building, while another gives you a different roof so you can completely change the look of your City Holiday scene. I can’t wait to start playing with those!

That’s my look at the Spellbinders September 2026 Clubs. My personal favorite is the Large Die, simply because there are so many possibilities packed into that one Large Die set. Between the girl, umbrella, tree, fence, pumpkins, sunflowers, leaves, and interactive element, there’s a lot to play with.

But now I want to know yours.
