Altenew | Painted Flowers Cards. Ink Pads Release Blog Hop + Giveaway (Now Closed)
Hello friends! Its finally the 15th of May which means we can now share our projects using the new amazing dye ink pads from Altenew!
The new inks are definitely among my favorites simply because they do not stain stamps. I don’t mind those that do, but these are truly wonderful and they give very crisp impressions every time! There are 12 different colors at the moment (designed to work perfectly with Altenew stamps, especially those that require a few shades of one color of ink). The pads themselves stack nicely on top of of each other and the lids lock in place so that they do not open accidentally.
Updated – Altenew has released many new colors of their Crisp Dye inks + re-inkers. You can see all of their inks here.
I’ve used all the new colors on the cards I’m sharing today:
I stamped the images outlines in Jet Black (over time I discovered I prefer to stamp outlines in either Versafine Onyx Black or Simon’s or Hero Arts Intense Black ink); used all 3 shades of green for the leaves (I alternated colors on different cards) – Evergreen, Forest Glades, Frayed Leaf; and used the rest of the colors to color the flowers (Grapevine, Ruby Red, Coral Berry, Frosty Pink, Warm Sunshine, Buttercream, Caramel Toffee, Paper Bag).

I used 2 stamp sets: Painted Flowers as well as Label Love
each card is an A2 top folding one, the stamped panel is added onto a white card base using foam adhesive for a bit of extra dimension
background on each of the cards was completed using a few drops of spray inks in pink and yellow
each sentiment label was adhered onto card using foam adhesive
