MY FAVORITES FROM THIS MONTH
There are so many fun products this month, but I have to admit that the Scaredy Cat (from the All Clubs Crate) immediately stole my heart.
As a cat lover (remember my Christmas Cats collection?), I had no choice but to make this one first! I die-cut my cat from black flock transfer paper to give it a soft, fuzzy texture that looks incredibly realistic in person. Paired with the spiderweb-embossed background, it makes for such a fun Halloween card.
Another standout for me is the Make a Monster die set (also part of the All Clubs Crate). Instead of creating one specific character, this set lets you mix and match mouths, teeth, eyes, and accessories to build your own silly monsters.
I especially loved experimenting with different types of teeth – including a few cut from mirror gold cardstock!
One of the cleverest products this month is the 3D Embossing Folder. It actually includes two different A2-sized embossing designs in one folder, giving you two different backgrounds depending on which side you use.
I also really enjoyed working with the Small Die of the Month and coordinating Clear Stamp of the Month. The stack of books, adorable candles, and witty Halloween sentiments made creating playful Halloween cards so easy.
Speaking of sentiments…this month’s stamp set may have some of my favorite Halloween greetings ever. “Haunted by my life choices” and “Let’s eat candy and judge people” definitely made me laugh!
The Large Die of the Month, Boo Mobile, is another incredibly fun set. The pumpkin-shaped car is adorable on its own, but I also love that it works beautifully with products you may already own, like Spellbinders Spinners or Pear Blossom Press lights.
The BetterPress Club features one of my favorite concepts this month – an adorable smiling ghost whose shadow is actually spooky. It’s such a clever design and creates a wonderful storytelling element on a card.
Finally, the Stencil Club creates sweet little white ghosts simply by leaving portions of the white cardstock unblended. It’s an easy technique with a big impact.
Which one is your favorite?
