Hello friends! I feel like it’s been ages since I had time to sit down and blog. This week I am off work (for the entire week, yay!) so I’m catching up. I’ve been working on a few videos earlier this week, cleaned my craft corner yesterday and now I’m happy to be back to my favorite thing – blogging! I have a lot of projects to share and as always – little time.

The card I’m sharing today was posted during my Simon’s Instagram Takeover back in November. In case you missed it – here it is again.

CARD DETAILS

Suzy’s watercolor prints are sold exclusively at Simon and are available in many different sets. They are watercolor cards, but it doesn’t mean that they can’t be colored using other mediums. I’ve challenged myself to color these using pencils and markers (I’ll share the markers card soon).

I used my Polychromos pencils and did some quick coloring in traditional Christmas colors. I personally love to color using these on dark surfaces, but I like how it turned out here on white. What do you think? A Yay or a Nay?

This is a very simple project and once my coloring was done I adhered the colored panel onto an A2 side folding card base and called it a day! Love how easy it is to use these printed cards – no need to come up with a stamped design, just grab your favorite coloring medium and color away!
