Hero Arts | How Does Your Garden Grow? March My Monthly Hero Blog Hop + Giveaway + Video
Hello all and thank you for stopping by today to help celebrate the launch of March My Monthly Hero Kit from Hero Arts (more about the kit and blog hop below).
I know I say this just about every other month, but March kit have completely and utterly stolen my heart. Both my Mom and my Grandma loved to keep a little garden and I think they have passed a lot of that love to me. I don’t have an actual garden to tend, but I do love plants and I always try to have some sort of greenery in our apartment and on paper!
VIDEO
This video is another one of those quick videos I plan to do more often on my youtube channel just briefly talking about a particular card or product I happen to like. Watch video below or on my Youtube channel:

CARDS DETAILS
Here’s the first card I made – I shared this one last Friday on Hero Arts blog and it mostly uses stamps from the main kit and just the sentiment comes from an add on stamp set. What I love most about the stamps in this kit is the ability to create various scenes.
Like this project? Pin it!
I have one bunny digging holes in the ground and another bunny all ready to plant a carrot. And yes he is planting a full size carrot instead of a carrot seed just because he is silly and adorable like that.
Here’s another card I made using stamps from the kit and also a few add on pieces. I used a woodblock Basket of Apples stamp, colored it using Copics and added another bunny trying to plant full grown apples. I used a “You’re my pick” sentiment and also stamped You’re Some Bunny Special at the bottom of my card and added another smaller bunny to the left.
To create this card I used a frame from the Egg-Cellent stamp set, after stamping it in the center of my white panel I masked it and stamped a mint pattern around it using one of the images from Fresh Herbs set. I also added a beet image from the kit and finished this card by stamping “Every Beet Of My Heart“.

March 6, 2017Thanks for showing so many possibilities! While it’s fun to see how the “experts” do a project from start to finish, sometimes it’s really helpful just to see all the product and lots of possibilities! I like the idea of creating “samples” that you can move around to see how to put different elements together. Thanks so much for the jump-start!
