Simon Says Stamp | Poppies Background Blending Free Coloring. Blog Hop + Giveaway
Hello and welcome for Simon Says Stamp Send Happiness Release Blog Hop! I’m delighted to join Simon and other talented designers today and share handmade inspiration with you featuring the new products.
The card I have for you today uses a new Poppies Background stamp. It is a stunning 6×6 cling background stamp with big, bold beautiful poppies. I couldn’t resist this image and of course, I had to color it with my alcohol markers using the no-blending technique (watch THIS VIDEO to learn about this technique).

CARD DETAILS
I stamped the image in Simon’s Intense Black ink on Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. I used my Altenew markers (any alcohol markers work for this technique) to color this stunning image. I did film a video of the process, but I haven’t had the chance to edit it yet.
I also colored the background black using Copic Black 100 marker. It was a bit risky, but I went for it. Red and black is a fantastic combo. I used a white Sakura pen to add stamen detail to my flowers.
To create a sentiment I foiled one that reads “Especially For You” in matte gold foil. Finally, I embellished the card with black jewels from Pretty Pink Posh.
This stamp is definitely my favorite one from this release. Which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below.
