Altenew | Miss You Floral Card. Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway (Now Closed)
Hello there! Altenew is celebrating their March 2017 Stamp Release (this is a busy month for them as they have recently released stencils and spray ink) and I’m happy to share a card using two of my favorite sets from this release – Garden Treasures and Filled Alpha.

CARD DETAILS
I am a big fan of various alpha-type stamp sets and I love love love to use them for my cards (I have links to other cards made using alpha stamp sets on my blog for more inspiration – scroll to the bottom of my post above the supply list)! So I was very excited to see a Filled Apha set from Altenew – with a set like this you can color and customize stamped letters any way you want.
Please note this is a 4 Bar card, not A2. I made my card base out of Powder Woodgrain cardstock and foam mounted one of Altenew’s antique trims in white on top (I used my perfect cardmaking formula to make this card). Next I stamped flowers and leaves from the from Garden Treasures stamp set using green, pink and yellow inks from Altenew.
I cut my images out using coordinating dies in my Platinum 6″ die cutting machine and adhered onto the card. I used a mix of foam adhesive and glue to create various levels of dimension.
To create my sentiment I stamped “Miss U” using Versafine Onyx Black ink onto Spicy Yogurt cardstock and trimmed into a strip. Using same colors of ink I used to stamp flowers I colored my letters and foam mounted my sentiment onto my card.
Lastly, I added several enamel dots using Nuvo Drops in English Mustard.
