Spellbinders | Each New Day is a Blessing Card. Video Tutorial

Hello there! It’s been a long time since I shared any video tutorials on my blog and I apologize for the delay. Today I’d like to post one of my recent videos created for Spellbinders using Becca Feeken newest Graceful Borders die collection.

VIDEO TUTORIAL

As always, I filmed a video tutorial showing how to create this project from start to finish. I’m hoping you’ll enjoy it. Watch it below or on my Youtube channel.

CARD DETAILS

I started working on this card by die cutting base panels for my project. I used dies from the 6×6 Matting Basics A and B sets and die-cut squares out of shimmer gray cardstock and glitter patterned paper. I didn’t do any embossing here, I simply cut those out. You can emboss these if you’d like to add some detail to the panels, but I didn’t feel I needed to do that.

For my borders I used gold foil paper and I die-cut 2 borders at once. I used a border from the Graceful Damask set and a border from the Graceful Brackets set leaving some space in the center to accommodate the ribbon.

I also die-cut another border from the Graceful Damask set and for this one I used shimmer gray paper.

I needed to die-cut a few more pieces to complete this card, so I cut 3 circles using Large and Small circle dies. The largest one was cut out of shimmer gray paper, medium – out of gold foil and for the top small one I used white paper where I stamped a sentiment.

The last two pieces I needed for this project were corners from the Graceful Corners One set and I cut those out of gold foil paper.

I finished my card by adding a beautiful satin ribbon bow and several peals.
