Happy Saturday, friends! How do you organize your handmade cards? Do you organize them at all? I am guilty to admit I do not and so I should probably find an easy way to do so if I ever want to locate something in my drawers filled with cards. I was looking for a Thank You card the other day, couldn’t find a single one (I know I have at least 10 of them somewhere), so I quickly made a new one, and also had a blast while I was at it. Win-win! Still, I need to organize the cards I made in the past.

CARD DETAILS
Often, simplicity is everything and so I followed this principle when stamping my card. I used Home Sweet Home stamp set from Simon Says Stamp, it’s a large 6×8 set that is ideal for making congratulatory and encouragement cards. I spotted a big, beautiful “Thanks for your kindness” stamp and immediatelly fell in love. The “Thanks” portion is done in big block letters and is adorned with delicate flowers. This is very me!
Using detail scissors I carefully cut that “Thanks” part away from the “For Your Kindness” part and used it to stamp it 3 times on my card front. Using mini MISTI stamping tool I inked the stamp up with 3 colors of ink, one color at a time of course, and stamped “Thanks” in Twirling Tutu, Melon and Maliblue.
I left some space inbetween the words for two reasons – to space the stamping out evenly on the card front and also to leave room inbetween the words to stamp subsentiments – “From All Of Us”. It comes from the Tiny Words stamp set. To complete this clean & simple stamping I also added a little decorative element from the Spiritual Sentiments set at the top center.
I trimmed this panel to 3 3/4 x 5 1/2″, added some scoring using my scoring board to emphasize “From All Of Us” and foam mounted panel to A2 kraft card base. Finally, I used several sequins from Simon as well as Nuvo Drops in Morning Dew to decorate the card.

Very nice Yana. I love the simplicity of your CAS card.
I have a few decorative card boxes that my niece gave me with dividers in them, so I use those on my book shelves to organize my cards in, according to occasions. They look nice and I can find them easily when needed.
Pretty colors and a simple card. I don’t organize my cards either, but keep them in a couple of plastic containers (which I go through when I need a card). One day ….
I really like the soft colors and the simplicity of the scored lines. A very pretty card. I do organize my cards. I have a box for seasonal cards (Christmas, Mother’s Day, etc.), another box for birthday cards and a third box for just because cards, sympathy, thank you, etc. Just enough organization to find what I’m looking for…sometimes.
Simple and lovely! 🙂
CAS, & stunning Yana. The colours you chose are lovely & soft, clean lines, clear print, so simple but stunning x
