Pretty Pink Posh | Winter Penguin Cards – 3 Ideas! Video (Blog Hop + Giveaway)
Hello, friends! I have 3 winter card ideas to share featuring adorable penguins! We’re not making Holidays cards, although these penguins are perfect for that, instead I wanted to show you how you can use your penguin stamps beyond the Holiday season and incorporate them into a Winter Birthday and Winter Greetings cards. Be sure to watch my video tutorial to see all 3 projects.

VIDEO TUTORIAL
As always, I filmed a video tutorial showing how to create this project from start to finish. I’m hoping you’ll enjoy it. Watch it below or on my Youtube channel.

CARD DETAILS
The stamp set I’m using today is Penguin Palls from Pretty Pink Posh. I’m a huge fan of Pretty Pink Posh stamps, the characters are just adorable, the size of the images is great for scene building, they mix and match well together and overall it’s just a treat to pull out my PPP stamps and play.
I started by stamping two penguin images that are ice skating and also some hats and a little gift. I stamped 5 hats in total as I was actually needing 5 for this card – 2 for the penguins and 3 more for the Happy Birthday Balloons.
I used the following Copic marker colors to color my images (same colors across all 3 projects):
- Reds: R20, R22, R24, R27 and R39;
- Orange: YR14;
- Grays: C10, C9, C7, C5, C1.
To create a scene for this card I did creative masking (detailed in this video HERE) and stamped Happy Birthday balloons and banner in Copic Marker friendly ink on light blue cardstock. I colored it with Copics and foam mounted my die cut penguins on top.
I used a sheet of diagonal stripe patterned paper from my stash, this pattern is easy to make using a marker and a ruler (you can see a how-to in this video HERE). Lastly, I stamped “Wishing You A” above my cluster along with 2 horizontal lines (I love the special touch it adds) and pine branches along with a snowflake below my scene.
Here’s a sneak peek of the other two cards I made using this stamp set:
Be sure to watch my video tutorial above for one more card idea featuring this stamp set!
