Hello, friends. I hope your week is going great. Today I’m sharing a gift card holder Christmas card with the My Favorite Things Holiday Penguins stamp set! It is an easy project to make, and a great one for the Holidays as it can hold a gift card.

CARD DETAILS

You can create a gift card holder using a variety of different images. You simply need to make sure the image is large enough to hide (or partially hide) the gift card on your card. The Christmas tree image was of a perfect size for the job.

Follow these instructions step-by-step to re-create this card:

• Stamp images for your project in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock: Christmas tree, penguins, candy canes.
• Color images with Copic markers: YG67, YG63, YG03 (tree); R22, R24, R27, R39 (ornaments, hats); E37, E33, E31 (tree trunk); C10, W1 (penguins); YR15, YR04 (beaks and feet).
• Cut images out using coordinating dies.
• Partially die-cut Christmas tree shape in light blue cardstock panel. Watch the video for partial cutting instructions.
• Heat emboss snowflakes on the light blue panel using white embossing powder.
• Foam mount light blue panel onto A2 white side folded card base. Do not add glue behind the Christmas tree die cut (watch the video for specific instructions).
• Foam mount Christmas tree onto the card.
• Stamp sentiment in black ink. Foam mount to card. Foam mount penguins and candy canes.
• Adhere clear droplets onto the tree ornaments to add dimension.
