If you’ve been crafting for a while, you know that die-cutting can sometimes be a bit messy. The tiny paper bits left behind from your die cuts seem to go everywhere, making cleanup a hassle. But today, I’m excited to share a new tool that’s going to make your life so much easier: the Handy Foam Mat from Spellbinders.

WHAT IS THE HANDY FOAM MAT?

It fits perfectly inside the Spellbinders Craft Stacks system, which is an incredible storage solution for organizing all your craft supplies. However, if you don’t own the Craft Stacks system, no worries! You can use the Handy Foam Mat on its own, and it will still work just as well.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The process is simple:

After die-cutting your shapes, place your die-cut onto the foam mat.

Grab your Tool n’ One (or any brush tool) and gently roll it over the back of the die-cut.

The tool will help loosen all the little paper bits that tend to get stuck, and they will fall out onto the mat.
The best part? You can easily take the mat out of your Craft Stacks (if you’re using the system) and dump all the paper scraps straight into your trash can. No mess on your desk! Just pop the mat back into the Craft Stacks when you’re done.
I’ve also found that it’s super efficient. Once you’re finished cleaning your die cuts, there’s no lingering paper or dust to deal with. It really helps keep your workspace neat, which is a win in my book!
