Waffle Flower | Postage Collage Stamps. Video

Hello crafty friends! I’m excited to share cards featuring the Postage Collage Collection from Waffle Flower. This collection, designed by the talented Galina Filippenko, has been around for a while, but it’s new to me. I’m finally ready to showcase some of the beautiful cards I’ve created with these amazing products!

The Postage Collage Collection is all about creating your own faux postage stamps for handmade cards using photopolymer stamps, and let me tell you, the possibilities are endless! This collection offers so much variety, and it was such a joy to experiment with all the components.

THE PRODUCTS I USED

I’ve had so much fun creating cards with a selection of my favorite products from this collection. From tropical sunsets to fun collage backgrounds, the combinations are endless!

Here’s a closer look at the products I used:

1. Postage Collage Die – This is the foundation of the collection. It allows you to create beautiful postage-stamped designs for your cards. This die works perfectly for A2 cards, and with a bit of creativity, you can also use it for other sizes!

2. Postage Collage Blocks Stencil – A must-have in this collection, this stencil works wonders for masking the stamped sections of your project and helps you create stunning postage block backgrounds.

3. Scenic Stamps – I picked the Tropical Sunset and Lake Sunset stamps for my cards. These stamps create beautiful, beachy and lake scenes that pair perfectly with the postage collage dies.

4. Postage Collage Stamps – This small stamp set features cute postal imagery, including cancellation marks, postage costs, and small sentiments—ideal for layering over larger postage stamps to create a more detailed, realistic look.

5. Sealed Sentiments – With larger, bold sentiments, this set adds a beautiful touch to the cards, creating focal points over the postage stamps. There’s a coordinating die, too.

6. Envelope Die & Stencils – These allow you to create adorable little envelopes, which I used on some of my cards. I loved how these added a 3D element to my creations.

I started by ink-blending the backgrounds with vibrant colors. I love a good, bold sunset look, so I used a mix of yellow, pink, and purple inks to create a stunning backdrop for my stamps. After that, I added the stamps – silhouettes of palm trees, surfers, and seagulls to set the tropical scene.

The stencil made it so easy to create clean, crisp lines, and I loved using it as a mask for my stamps. Once everything was stamped and blended, I cut the images out using the coordinating postage stamp dies and assembled my cards.
