Hello friends and happy STAMPtember! STAMPtember comes once a year, and it is a month-long celebration of stamping and all things crafty organized by Simon Says Stamp! I’ve been a fan of STAMPtember ever since I discovered it several years ago. I look forward to STAMPtember every September – who can resist all the amazing products, the inspiration, and the crafty fun?
Today I have a fun card I made for my boyfriend using the new Halloween Basics stamp set from CZ and Simon! I had a blast making this card, and I have a short video on my YouTube talking about the process. Watch the video on my YouTube channel (because it is a short, I cannot embedd it into a blog post):
To create this card, I used Honey Cardstock as a base and then ink-blended Clay and VersaFine Onyx Black inks to create the background. Next, I stamped the bats from the Halloween Basics stamp set using the same VersaFine Onyx black ink and sprayed my background using the Distress Mica Spray in Antique Bronze.
To create the sentiment, I stamped “I’m So Batty For You” using the same black ink and added pre-printed sentiment strips. No embellishments were needed – I love the way this turned out!
