Welcome to day 11 of the 12 Days of Stitchmas Advent Calendar by Spellbinders. Day 11 opens to a sweet winter owl with optional stitching on the belly and wings – plus a jaunty hat. I kept everything unstitched to showcase how the pierced detail reads beautifully on its own and built a clean, simple card around a deep green backdrop.

CARD DETAILS
Once again, I made a super simple card. I used Midnight Green (Simon Says Stamp) for the background panel + base; the owl was cut out from Fawn (owl body), Truffle (feet, belly detail, wings), Blush (face blush), Pomegranate (hat), and white (hat trim).
The sentiment comes from the Home For Christmas set from my Amaryllis Christmas collection, foiled in gold. The card is embellished using Green Color Essential Gems.
Day 11’s owl is a fast, charming focal—great unstitched and easy to customize with color, blush, and hat styling. One window left; I’ll be back with Day 12 next.
