Hello, friends! It’s time for another roundup of my favorite club kits from Spellbinders, and this time it’s all about Christmas in July! For the past few years, July has brought us the first wave of festive goodness from Spellbinders, with another holiday drop coming in October. I didn’t get a chance to create with every single product this month, but I still have plenty of inspiration (and some cute kitten chaos) to share with you!

SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH – FESTIVE MUGS
This month’s Small Die of the Month is absolutely adorable—it creates a festive mug that you can customize as a penguin, Santa, or reindeer! There are also sweet extras like scarves, candy canes, snowflakes, and tiny hearts to dress up your mugs.
Bonus Tip: If you get the Deluxe Caboodle, you’ll receive a bonus die set this month – a cute gingerbread person that can also be turned into a mug. I combined the two sets for a playful mix-and-match design, and I love how it turned out!
Sentiments used on these cards are from this month’s Clear Stamp Set – a versatile set of holiday greetings that worked perfectly across all my cards.
LARGE DIE OF THE MONTH – HOLIDAY HUG IN A MUG
If you love cozy vibes, the Large Die of the Month is going to be your new favorite! It includes dies to build a large mug, mittens, and decorative mug toppers like Santa, a snowman, and a snowflake.
Bonus pieces let you add steam, sleeves, and sentiments like “Warm Cocoa Wishes”. This die set is perfect for building scene-style cards or a sweet standalone element.
BETTERPRESS OF THE MONTH – COZY BACKGROUNDS
The BetterPress Plate of the Month features an A2-sized background and two sentiments: Cozy Wishes and Holiday Cheer. You can press the design with BetterPress ink or foil it like I did!
I used Gold Foil on Brushed Black cardstock and Opal Foil on Windy cardstock – both stunning and elegant for the holidays. The opal foil gives a beautiful tone-on-tone shimmer, perfect for subtle backgrounds.
GLIMMER HOT FOIL KIT – SNOWY DETAILS
The Glimmer Kit of the Month includes a snowflake-filled A2 background with two sentiments: Sending Winter Hugs and Let It Snow. There’s also a coordinating die for the sentiments.
I tried something new and embossed with the Glimmer plate (instead of foiling), and it created a wonderfully deep texture. It’s a fun alternative that opens up even more creative options!
EMBOSSING FOLDERS – 2D & 3D SNOWFLAKES
This month, like every month, we have two embossing folders: one 3D and one 2D, both in a generous 5.5” x 8.5” size.
I used white pigment ink over the Windy cardstock to highlight the texture. Just a touch of foiling and some gems finished the look! These cards are perfect for mass-producing holiday greetings—just allow that pigment ink time to dry!
WAX SEAL OF THE MONTH – SQUARE SNOWFLAKE
This month’s Wax Seal is a 1” square featuring a snowflake design. I used white wax and finished it with a gold marker for a luxurious touch. These seals will be perfect for holiday gift wrapping this year! If you’re new to wax sealing, try DecoColor markers to highlight the design. I used the gold one here and it worked beautifully!
STITCHING DIE OF THE MONTH – STITCHED SHAPED CARD
This month’s Stitching Die creates a shaped card base that fits in an A2 envelope. It’s a two-die set – one for the base and one for stitching holes. You can stitch it or skip the stitching entirely—the design looks great both ways. I haven’t stitched mine yet, but I love the look of these kinds of designs when finished!
STENCIL OF THE MONTH – LAYERED HOLIDAY BACKGROUNDS
The Stencil of the Month includes two different background styles – a cozy knit pattern and a layered geometric holiday design with four layers. I didn’t get a chance to ink mine up just yet, but I’ve included a preview photo from the Spellbinders website to give you an idea of what it looks like in action. It’s festive, graphic, and perfect for building full-card backgrounds.
