Spellbinders | It’s Christmas Season – Ho Ho Ho Christmas Greeting Card

Hello friends and happy Sunday! I have a new Christmas card to share featuring Christmas dies and Glimmer Hot Foil plates from Spellbinders. I made this card a while back, but haven’t had a chance to share it until now.

CARD DETAILS

I love this type of layout and this type of project with a repeated die-cut pattern. I have shared a very similar card HERE. For this project, I went with different colors – two shades of green, silver to create a shadow layer, black for the background, and a hint of red.

What you probably can’t see easily on the card is the foiled background – I foiled the snowflake border using black foil on black cardstock for a tone on tone look. It is very subtle and adds a nice detail to otherwise a plain background panel.

The “Ho Ho Ho” die-cuts were adhered at an angle using foam adhesive to give this card some dimension. I also made little Santa hats using dies from Sunday Drive with Santa die set. They are the perfect size to go on top of the letters “H”. I also embellished this card with silver jewels.

This design doesn’t have a specific sentiment. Rather the die-cut background works as one giant sentiment on this card. I like it. Do you? Let me know in the comments below.
