Hello friends! I am excited to join Simon Says Stamp for their new And Everything Nice release and blog hop! I am so very much enjoying the Christmas products – just in time for more holiday crafting! I have 2 cards to share today, both simple and graphic!
First up – Holly Jolly! I created this card by mixing a few of the new sets. The main set used, of course, is the Holly Jolly one. It is such a fabulous, bold graphic design. I always love designs like this.

I stamped the Holly Jolly in Cranberry, Cabernet, and Black to create the bold shadow look. This stamp set reminds me of my Shadow Joy die set, these are always so cool to create with! I used the coordinating die to cut this sentiment out.
If you are visiting my blog for the first time or have not yet subscribed – be sure to do so! I share lots of handmade projects every week delivering them straight to your inbox! I also occasionally share information about crafty sales and new product releases I love. Subscribe here.
I also created bold anemones using the flower images from the new Warmth and Wonder stamp set. I have a video coming soon showing how to make these flowers (how to add all that beautiful shading), stay tuned!
To finish the sentiment, I added “Wishing You”, which comes from the new Warmth and Wonder, and “Christmas”, which comes from the new Tree Plate Greetings. I also used the new Seafoam cardstock to create the card base for this card. Love this color combo!
My second card features the Retro Wreath stamp set, another cool design, perfect for mass-producible Christmas cards. I stamped the wreath in black ink and colored it using the coordinating stencil with the help of the following ink colors: Pearfection (my fave green!), Field, Aspen, Pine.
The bow doesn’t have a stencil, so I colored it using R27 Copic marker. Next, I cut everything out using the coordinating dies and arranged them on a 3 1/2 x 4 3/4″ white cardstock panel.
I added a “Season’s Greetings” sentiment in the center of the wreath. To add interest to the background, I cut a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ panel of red cardstock diagonally and adhered a half onto an A2 top-folding card base.

Your cards are so neat and pretty. On your second card, I like how you used the red cardstock. I also really enjoyed the link on photographing your cards!!!! That was so helpful and not often I see tips on that. Much appreciated you shared that.
Thank you so much! ❤️ I’m so happy you liked the red cardstock card — that bold background ended up being one of my favorites too! And I’m thrilled you found the photography tips helpful. I don’t share those often, but it’s such an important part of showing off our work. Thanks for taking the time to leave such a kind comment!

What fun, festive cards! I love the use of the soft blue with the traditional reds and greens!
Thank you so much! I’m so happy you noticed that! I love sneaking in a soft blue with classic Christmas colors — it adds such a fresh twist while keeping things festive.
Wonderful dimension/popping up, color & arrangements.

I absolutely love the Holly Jolly word die! Great job & thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! That Holly Jolly die is such a fun one to create with — bold, festive, and instant cheer! I’m so happy you enjoyed the project!
Yana, Your cards in typical Yana fashion are bright, beautiful, well thought out cards. I especially love your Holly Jolly card, that card looks like it came out of a box of high end Christmas cards. Your Retro Wreath card gave edgy and modern vibes to me. I want to THANK YOU for the fabulous tips & info you shared about how you take your photos. Your photos are always top notch & I found your post to be very useful and informative. I had no idea you were now living in Arizona, that is where my husband was born and raised, welcome to the US.
Oh wow, thank you so much for this incredibly kind message! ❤️ You truly made my day. I’m so happy you enjoyed both cards — the Holly Jolly design was such a fun mix of bold and classic, and I loved giving the Retro Wreath a slightly modern twist.
I’m also thrilled you found the photography tips helpful! I don’t currently live in AZ, this is a very old blog post from the time when I did live in the States. The photography tips are still however current, so I add a link to that post in every post I make. Apologies for the confusion!
