Pretty Pink Posh | Happy Valentine’s Day Card. Blog Hop + Giveaways
Hello friends! Thank you for joining us today to celebrate Pretty Pink Posh 4th Birthday Anniversary! This post is a part of a celebratory blog hop (more about the hop and giveaways below).
One of the new sets from Pretty Pink Posh that I love the most from the new product release (oh yes, there are fabulous new products!) is Cupid Friends! Just in time for Valentine’s Day. And even though I’ve already shared several Valentine’s Day cards I made another one as I just couldn’t resist!

CARD DETAILS
I started working on this card by stamping and die-cutting the little Cupids. I used Intense Black ink and stamped both images onto Neenah 80Lb cardstock. I cut them out in my Platinum die cutting machine and used Copic Markers to do my coloring.
I’m no pro when it comes to Copics so I just went with my usual go-to colors for coloring – used RV14, RV13 and RV11 to color the tunics, B000 and B00 to color the wings, E000 and E02 to color skin and finally E11, E13 and E33 to color their hair.
I heat embossed Happy Valentine’s Day sentiment in Antique Gold embossing powder onto white cardstock panel cut to 4 x 5 1/4″ and added horizontal score lines with the help of my scoring boards. See this video tutorial to learn how to add these score lines. I avoided the heat embossed area and only scored around it. Foam mounted my panel onto an A2 top folding card base.
I foam mounted cupids on top and embellished my card using clear droplets in 2 sizes.
