Spellbinders | My Favorite June 2025 Clubs

Hi everyone! It is the 6th of the month, and that means the new Club products from Spellbinders are live and available! Traditionally, I’m diving into my favorite Spellbinders Club Kits from June 2025 to give you a look at the new products, tell you what works with what and share inspiration.

I love June 2025 Clubs so much, I made 14 cards! Yes! I was inspired; ideas were buzzing in my head, and I couldn’t stop creating. Here’s a peek at some of the cards I made:

WHY JOIN THE CLUB?

CARD #1 – SEAGULL AHOY!

I kicked off my crafting with the Small Die of the Month featuring a cute seagull. This card is one of my absolute favorites from the batch. It’s simple yet impactful, with a cheerful yellow Saffron card base and a fun scarf on the seagull (cut from the Hello, It’s Me patterned paper from Rosie’s Studio – I’m using this paper a lot for other cards, too).

Other cardstock colors used: Poppy, Carrot, Anchor, Brushed Black.

The sentiment from the Stamp of the Month that says “Sending Hello” paired perfectly with the seagull’s playful vibe.

CARD #2 – SEAGULL JUST SAYING HELLO

For another card with a different seagull from the Stitching die of the Month, I turned him into a “postal seagull” by adding a mailbag from the April Small Die of the Month kit.

This quirky twist turned out so fun! The seagull is set against a light blue Windy cardstock background, featuring a giant Saffron sun at the top (you’ll just need a large circle die to create the sun), and delivers a letter with an “Ahoy” sentiment to match. It’s a simple design with a pop of red and blue, but the fun of the character and the color play really make it stand out.

CARD #3 – THE SALTY SAILOR (AKA THE WALRUS)

Next up is the Salty Sailor (the walrus) from the Small Die of the Month die set. This character is packed with charm, from his adorable t-shirt to the pipe he’s puffing. I love how Josie designed this die with lots of little details that make it easy to assemble, especially the lines on his face that guide you on where to place his whiskers.

I paired him with the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, which added beautiful texture to the background. The sentiment, “Ahoy, Matey” is just one of the clever phrases from the Stamp of the Month that added a fun touch to the card.

Other cardstock colors used: Anchor, Fog, Brushed Black, Cosmic Sky, Truffle.

CARD #4 – PARTY LIKE A SEA CAPTAIN

My next card features the large seagull from the DOMST (that’s short code for the Stitching die, btw), clouds from the DOML (large die), a pipe from DOM (that’s Small Die) and sentiment from the CDOM (that’s the Clear Stamp + Die of the Month).

The background here is made using Chiffon cardstock. It creates a nice soft sunset-like sky.

CARD #5 FROM WHERE THE CLIFFS MEET THE SEA

This card uses a combination of Club and non-Club products. First, we have the DOMST Seagull with the mailbag from the April DOM, he is standing on a cliff made using the Fair Winds collection dies (the seagull silhouettes in the sky are from that same set).

The little fish in the seagull’s mouth is from another Club product, the March DOM – one with the fishing and Father’s Day theme. The background cardstock color here is Celestial.

CARD #6 – SEAS THE DAY

This card is a full-blown fishing one! I have the DOMST Seagull holding a fishing rod from the March DOM, along with a bucket filled with fish.

This card is embellished using only a few black enamel dots from Spellbinders – I feel like these are on their way to being discontinued, so now would be the best time to stock up if you like this type of embellishment.

CARD #7 – THANKS FOR LIGHTING THE WAY

This card combines the beautiful DOML Lighthouse, the waves made using one of the designs from the SOM (that’s Stencil of the Month), there are 3 different designs, I only used this one; and a fish net from the GOM (that’s Glimmer of the Month).

The fishnet was foiled in Opaque White foil on Fawn cardstock. The waves were ink blended using Hero Arts inks in: Paradise, Aegan, and Bermuda.

CARD #8 CASTING A WARM HELLO YOUR WAY

This is one of the few cards where I didn’t use the sentiment from the CDOM, but instead used one from the BetterPress Kit, the BPOM. Here, I created a background by foiling the fish net from the GOM in Opaque White foil on Windy cardstock. Next, I added a diagonally cut Saffron panel to create a color-blocked look.

The wheel was made by cutting the DOMST piece twice, skipping the stitching inserts, and hiding the seam by placing a sentiment on top. I also have a small seagull here from the DOM set.

CARD #9 – AHOY

This one is a traditional grid card with a 2 x 3 design. I have DOM seagulls and anchors from the DOMST creating the grid.

CARD #10 – SENDING A NET FULL OF THANKS

This card features a BPOM background foiled in Gold on Windy, a charming warlus from the DOM, and a non-stitching steering wheel from the DOMST.

I also used Glossy Accents on the nose to make it appear wet.

CARD #11 YOU’RE THE CALM IN MY STORMY SEAS

This card features the Bonus item for Deluxe Caboodle Club Members. You can watch a video tutorial for this card on the Spellbinders YouTube channel.

CARD #12 – THANKS FOR LIGHTING THE WAY

The June 2025 Spellbinders Club Kits were a joy to work with, and I had so much fun creating all these cards.
