Hello, crafty friends! Christmas is one of my favorite seasons – glitter, lights, hot cocoa, twinkly décor… and of course Christmas cards! I realized this year I’ve been so busy with projects that I haven’t shared as many holiday cards with you as I’d like. So today I’m diving right into the Merry Mischief Collection from Spellbinders, and it’s exactly the kind of festive pick-me-up we need right now.

CARD DETAILS
This September release is packed with all the whimsical goodness you’d expect – penguins in scarves, a pup dressed as a Christmas tree, a hedgehog bundled up for winter, and a Santa who may (or may not) be stuck in the chimney. Each set includes both stamps and dies, making them perfect for beginners or as a “one-and-done” gift for a crafty friend. You get the image AND the coordinating sentiment – no hunting for extra sets required.
I prepped my die-cutting and assembling off-camera (sometimes you just have to give in to the crafty flow!), but put the cards together on camera to share my process. Think of it as cozy cardmaking with a sprinkle of behind-the-scenes chaos – glue caps off, die-cuts everywhere, and Christmas lights strung across my desk.
There are four critter sets in this collection, plus a gorgeous ornament embossing folder (my new go-to for classic holiday backgrounds). And can we talk about the string of Christmas lights dies?! They’re teeny, adorable, and instantly make every scene feel festive. I’ve wanted a die like that for years – Spellbinders, you made my holiday dream come true!
From Santa’s indigo night sky to penguins under a bold “JOY” sentiment, to the hedgehog sending “hedgehugs” and the pup paw-sitively glowing with lights, these cards are bursting with merry mischief. I even tucked in a few extras from my stash – tiny birds, sprigs of greenery, and gems.
