Hello, crafty friends! Today I’m whisking you off on a little crafty vacation – no plane ticket required! I’m thrilled to share a trio of soft, sunset-kissed cards I made using the new Coastal Paradise suite (all linked below) from the Whispering Views release by Pinkfresh Studio.

This dreamy bundle includes coordinating stamps, stencils, and dies, all designed to help you build tranquil seaside scenes that feel like a mini getaway on paper.
If you haven’t made it to the beach this summer, let’s call this your virtual escape – complete with warm skies, gentle waves, and palm-fringed views.

CARD DETAILS
Ink Colors I Used:

Pinks: Ballet Slipper + Sparkling Rose (for that dreamy sunset sky)
-
Peach: Peach Fuzz (adds warmth to the sand + roof accents)
-
Greens: Key Lime + Grassy Knoll (for tropical palm trees)
-
White pigment ink: Calico White (perfect for foamy waves!)
Using the layering stencils from the Coastal Paradise set, I created peaceful scenes:

A sunset sky in soft pinks
-
A teal-toned ocean
-
White pigment foam for extra dimension in the waves
-
A pink-to-peach beach to echo the sky
To finish each card, I stamped the beach houses and palm trees in Detail Black ink and added soft shading with the same colors used on the background. This helps create a cohesive, light-filled look where the buildings feel kissed by sunset.
Everything was die cut (twice for extra stability) and foam-mounted for that layered, dimensional feel I love. Sentiments like “Sending You Sunshine” and “Warmest Birthday Wishes” completed the scenes, making these cards perfect for summer birthdays, a quick hello, or just sending some warm coastal vibes.
Tip: Want that golden-hour glow? Try blending in Marigold ink for the sun—you’ll get a gorgeous, glowing effect that warms up the whole card.
I made three cards in total, all using the same general concept but playing with layout and subtle color shifts. Whether you prefer soft pink skies or sunlit ocean foam, there’s so much room to personalize these scenes. And the best part? No masking required! The separate die cuts make it easy to move things around and get the look just right.
