My March 2026 Collection with Spelbinders is HERE! Yana’s Tulips – Collection Introduction Video

Spring is one of my favorite seasons to create for, and today I’m beyond excited to share a closer look at my brand new Yana’s Tulips Collection with Spellbinders. This is my Spring 2026 release, and it is filled with tulips, windmills, daffodils, and heartfelt sentiments designed to help you create beautiful spring cards, birthday cards, and thoughtful floral projects.

This collection was inspired by my trips to the Netherlands. Every time I travel there to teach and demo, I come home recharged and overflowing with creative ideas. The tulip fields, colorful windmills, crisp blue skies, and fresh spring air all made their way into these designs. I wanted to capture that feeling of renewal and turn it into BetterPress plates, layering stencils, and dies that make cardmaking easy and inspiring.

Yana’s Tulips Collection by Spellbinders – Spring 2026

This release includes:

The collection is BetterPress-focused, but I also included a tulip die set for those of you who love dimension and die cutting as much as I do.

Tulips and Daffodils BetterPress Plate (BP-359)

The Tulips and Daffodils plate is designed to fill an A2 card front (4.25 x 5.5 inches) beautifully. You can:

BetterPress it with ink for crisp letterpress-style results
Hot foil it for shine and elegance
Color it with layering stencils or your favorite coloring medium

The coordinating Layered Tulips and Daffodils stencils make coloring effortless. With multiple layers, you can quickly blend pink and yellow tulips, cheerful daffodils, and fresh green foliage. I used a consistent palette across my samples: soft pinks, sunny yellows, teals, and greens for a cohesive spring look.

One of my favorite techniques with this plate is partial foiling. By shifting the plate slightly and foiling it more than once, you can create custom arrangements with floral clusters at the top, bottom, or corners of your card.

I also experimented with:

– Foiling on white BetterPress cardstock
– Foiling on Spellbinders Chiffon cardstock for a soft ivory look
– Black foil for a bold, dramatic outline

Because this is a line-art plate (not a reverse plate), you are foiling or pressing only the outlines. This gives you total control over color choices while keeping the design crisp and elegant.

Windmills and Tulips BetterPress Plate (BP-360)

If you’ve ever visited the Netherlands, you know how iconic windmills and tulip fields are together. The Windmills and Tulips plate captures that scenery in one A2-sized design.

In this plate, you’ll find:

– Detailed windmills with blades in motion
– Subtle wind lines to suggest movement
– Clouds and background greenery
– Layered tulip fields in the foreground

When paired with the Layered Windmills and Tulips stencils, you can easily bring the entire scene to life.

For one card, I recreated a classic Dutch landscape with:

– Blue sky and soft clouds
– Rich green windmills
– A bright yellow tulip field
– Pale yellow tulips in the foreground

For another version, I experimented with colorful windmills. During my December trip, I saw windmills in unexpected shades, including pink and yellow. So of course I had to translate that into a card. Pink windmills paired with pink tulips create a whimsical and coordinated look.

This plate also works beautifully for year-round cards. Even though tulips are associated with spring, sentiments like “Wishing you a birthday that blooms as beautifully as a tulip in spring” make it perfect for birthdays in any season.

Bouquet of Hugs Sentiments (BP-354)

No floral collection is complete without heartfelt sentiments. The Bouquet of Hugs Sentiments set includes meaningful phrases designed specifically to coordinate with the tulip and windmill imagery, while still being versatile enough to use on their own.

Sentiments include:

– Missing you dearly
– Sending you a bouquet of hugs
– Thank you for helping me grow
– Your kindness makes the world blossom
– Wishing you a birthday that blooms as beautifully as a tulip in spring

Each sentiment has a coordinating die, making it easy to add dimension and polish to your cards.

Yana’s Tulip Die Set (S2-458)

For those who love die cutting, I included a simple and elegant tulip die set. This set allows you to create dimensional tulips that can be layered over BetterPress backgrounds or used on their own for clean and modern designs.

It’s a small set, but incredibly versatile.
