It’s STAMPtember! | Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Exclusive – Happy Holidays
Hello, friends and welcome back for another “It’s STAMPtember!” post! This time I am sharing a Christmas card created using Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous exclusive collaboration stamp set.
I’ll admit – it was a challenge to take Tim’s traditional images and translate them into my favorite Clean & Simple style, but after a few hours of play time in my craft corner I was finally happy with my project. I’d love to hear what you think?

CARD DETAILS
I started working on this project by heat embossing a wood slice in Simon’s Antique Gold embossing powder onto Arches Hot Pressed watercolor paper. Next, I colored it using my Daniel Smith watercolors – Transparent Brown color and cut out with scissors.
I also heat embossed a border and a postage stamp in same Antique Gold embossing powder and colored both using Alizarin Crimson watercolor. I cut out the stamp and tore one of the edges off. The border was cut into smaller pieces which I later adhered onto my card as little accents.
I stamped and cut out two stags using Simon’s Dark Chocolate and Smoke inks. Once all of my pieces were ready I foam mounted them onto an A2 side folding card base. I covered the front of my card with white Woodgrain cardstock as I love to use something other than smooth paper for simple cards like this one.
I heat embossed “Happy Holidays” sentiment in white embossing powder onto brown cardstock and foam mounted it onto my card. Lastly, I added several Nuvo Drops in Dark Walnut.

September 11, 2017What a gorgeous card! I love how you cut and divided up the border stamp for little accents on the card. I love the embossing on the wood slice and other accent pieces. that ties everything together well. The deer are wonderful looking stamps. Thanks for sharing!

So happy to know it is not just me that takes hours sometimes to come up with an idea. I always see your cards (and the other bloggers) and feel as though you just “rip them off” so easily when sometimes it takes me forever…LOL

September 12, 2017What I especially like about this card is that’s it is so unexpected and sort of non-traditional! Very creative idea. Those diamond shaped accents are beautiful! Thanks, Yana.
