Today, let’s take a deep dive into one of the essentials of this release — the Christmas Cheer Sentiments!

THE SENTIMENTS & STYLE
This set includes 5 festive holiday messages, all done in the same elegant font style you’ve seen in my past collections:
Keeping the font and size consistent allows you to build a cohesive library of sentiments that work together effortlessly. I love the idea of having interchangeable messages that mix and match easily across cards and collections — it helps tie everything together visually while making your crafting stash feel more purposeful.
BETTERPRESS OR FOIL? USE WHAT YOU LOVE
These plates are designed as BetterPress plates, but you can absolutely foil them too! I personally love the look of foiled sentiments — that touch of shine always elevates a card — but whether you foil or press with ink, the detail in these plates is beautiful.
Here’s a look at each of the sentiments and a few card ideas to spark your creativity:
MY GREATEST PRESENT IS TO HAVE YOU BY MY SIDE
Foiled in red on white cardstock, this sentiment pairs perfectly with the Shadow Joy die. Simple, heartfelt, and sized just right for A2 cards.
AT CHRISTMAS TIME AND ALL YEAR THROUGH, SO THANKFUL TO HAVE GREAT FRIENDS LIKE YOU
One of my favorites! This sentiment is larger and makes a bold statement. The coordinating die cuts right into the grooves of the text for a polished finish. (P.S. Don’t mind the missing “E” in the prototype card — your plate will have all the letters!)
SEASON’S GREETINGS FROM OUR HOUSE TO YOURS
This one was designed specifically to complement the City Holiday die set. It looks beautiful alongside doors and wreaths or even layered over a full building façade.
HAVE A HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS
A slim sentiment that works so well with grid-style cards or as a band across the middle of your design. I’ve used it with both the City Holiday and Christmas Cracker die sets.
MERRY EVERYTHING AND HAPPY ALWAYS
This one’s designed to fit perfectly inside the window of the City Holiday building — the only sentiment in the set that does. I also used it on a 5×7 card, foiled directly onto the background with the Shadow Joy layered on top.
The Christmas Cheer Sentiments set is a versatile, elegant addition to your holiday crafting toolkit. Whether you foil or press, use them solo or mix with past collections, they’ll add just the right finishing touch to your cards.
