Spellbinders | With Love Fancy Die Cut Card. Video

This post is also available in Українською мовою

Card a month is a monthly video series on my blog (retired). Once a month, usually on the 2nd or 3rd Friday I share a new handmade card along with a video tutorial. I hope you’ll enjoy!

I’m back with another card using some of my favorite fancy Spellbinders dies. This time I played with Bella Rose papers from First Edition and some textured cardstock from American Crafts.

VIDEO TUTORIAL

Just like always, I’m sharing a video tutorial to show you how this card made and I also talk a bit about the “special effects” of some negative die cut pieces that Spellbinders dies produce. Enjoy my video here or on my Youtube channel.

CARD DETAILS

I used quite a few different dies for my project and I mixed and matched them, this is what I love about Spellbinders – most of their designs work so well together! I started by using the Gold Corner One set (unfortunately, this set has been discontinued), it works beautifully for adding finishing touches to the corner of any card.

I also used Opulent Ovals dies – this set is among my favorites because it not only created beautiful positive die cuts, but also adds nice details to the negative space and I am using that today to add additional detail to my paper.

I also used a stunning Bracket Border die, this is one of the Card Creator border sets and I love it (there are quite a few sets similar to this one in the Card Creator collection – all very beautiful). Lastly, Ribbon Banners was used for the sentiment. I stamped With Love (this is from Stampendous) and used ClearSnap Suede Dye Ink.

No fancy Spellbinders card of mine is ever complete without some stitching and a few pearls and you can see a close-up of both on the photo below.
