Inspired by Pinterest | Colorful Circle Background Using Circle Stamps
This post is also available in Українською мовою
This is another post from the bi-weekly “Inspired by Pinterest” series (retired). In this series I use images found on Pinterest as inspiration for my cards.
Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing 3 colourful one layer birthday cards with stamped background using just one circle stamp. And as always, I have a video to show you exactly how my cards were done!
I was inspired by the image you see below – I loved the white, gray and blue circles and was just about to get my circle dies from Spellbinders when I spotted a Hero Arts Circles stamp set sitting on my table (this stamp set has since been discontinued, but I am listing alternatives in the supply list below).
So the cards I’m sharing today might not exactly look like the image you see above, but they were inspired by it. I do however want to create something similar using dies, so maybe I’ll do that for my next video.
These cards are all very similar, but they are different, too. For each I used a different technique to do my background stamping.
VIDEO TUTORIAL
As always, I filmed a video tutorial showing how to create this project from start to finish. I’m hoping you’ll enjoy it. Watch it below or on my Youtube channel.
Like this video? Please give it a big thumbs up and share with a crafty friend! Drop me a comment too, I love hearing from you!

August 2, 2014Love your fun and colourful cards. For the ink residue left on the stamps with the Simon Says Inks, clean your stamps with Hero Arts Ultra Clean, you’ll be amazed at how much ink it will clean off your stamp and you won’t have any transfer of ink colour.
