Mother’s Day Card Ideas | Video | Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello, crafters! With Mother’s Day being not too far away and my complete lack of cards for this occasion, I decided to create a few. I have 2 options – both feature stamping, flick style Copic marker coloring, die-cutting, and dry embossing using stencils.

CARD DETAILS
The star of the show on these cards are the utterly gorgeous Spring flower stamps from Pretty Pink Posh. Pretty Pink Posh is known for their cute critter stamps, but they also have a fantastic lineup of all-year-round floral stamps.
One of the newest addition to their floral stamp line is the Daffodil set with pretty Spring daffodils. In addition to the daffodils, I used the Crocus Flowers stamp set (one of my favorites for Spring, I love to color these very pale purple or even violet), Cherry Blossom stamp set (I typically use just one flower bud from this set, I love the size and the shape of this image and I tend to use it from many floral arrangements, year-round), Tulips stamp set (it features beautiful large tulip images along with separate leaves to help you build your own tulip arrangement, btw, here’s another video featuring this set and a completely different way to color these flowers) and last, but not least is the Wild Rose stamp set (this isn’t necessarily a Spring flower set, but I’ve found these roses to complement my floral cards nicely).
Another stamp set I used for these cards is the Mom set. It is the newest addition to the large floral word stamps from Pretty Pink Posh. You have the large focal Mom here as well as sub sentiments that read “Thanks For All You Do” and “Happy Mother’s Day”, and another larger script Mother’s Day sentiment. The main Mom word has a large coordinating die, which can also be used alone, not necessarily with the stamp and this is how I used mine for one of the cards.
