STAMPtember | Mama Elephant Exclusive – Forest Scene Christmas Card

STAMPtember celebrations continue with a new exclusive release from Mama Elephant. There is a Winter Fox stamp set and also stamp + coordinating die combo. This is a darling set with adorable woodland critters.

CARD DETAILS

I decided I’d stamp a custom pattern for my card, so I used images of the trees (there are 3 large and 3 small trees) and stamped a forest pattern for my card using Simon’s Intense Black ink, my stamping was done on Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock.

Next, I colored images with Copics, I used YG00, YG01, YG03, and YG25. The negative space between the trees was also colored, I used the B99 marker (the refill finally arrived and I am able to use this gorgeous color again). I also sprayed the background with Hero Arts Shimmer Spray and added white snow dots using Jane Davenport paint pens and Sakura pens (for different diameter dots).

The fox and tiny snowman were stamped onto white cardstock, colored with Copics (B000, E000, E00, E02, E11, E33, C5, C7, R20, R22, R35, R39), and cut out using scissors. I used a previously foiled circle die cut (created using my Wreath glimmer plate) to house a sentiment. I also added the critters on top and foam mounted the circle onto the card. Easy peasy!
