Simon Says Stamp | Just A Card To Say…
Hello, friends! Happy Monday. Today I have a one layer card featuring some creating inking with Simon’s Faceted Stripes stencil.
I wanted to use the stencil to create a stenciled frame and keep the center of the card free from ink blending to be able to add my sentiment. I picked several ink colors and ink blended sections of the stencil with the following colors: Twirling Tutu, Smoke, Laurel Green, and Seafoam.
It took some creative masking and repositioning of the stencil to be able to complete the frame, overall I like the result. With the ink blending done I stamped a simple sentiment in the center of the panel, it reads: “Just A Card To Say You’re Awesome” (from the Greetings Mix 1 set) and “You Rock” (from the Thanks and Encouragement Word Mix 1) and added a tiny pink heart at the bottom.
Have fun stamping!
