Video! Modern Totally Wonderful Card with an abstract embossed background. Pinterest Inspired #45
This post is also available in Українською мовою
Hi everyone! Welcome back for a new Inspired by Pinterest video series. Today I’m sharing a modern Totally Wonderful card with an abstract embossed background.
This is another post from the bi-weekly “Inspired by Pinterest” series. In this series I use images found on Pinterest as inspiration for my cards. You can view all posts from this series by clicking here.
Here’s my card:
And here’s the inspiration image I used:
To create an abstract background for this card I used my favorite Brush Stokes stamp set from Hero Arts. I have been using this stamp set often during the past few month and I’ve made quite a few cards using it, here they are: Birthday, Be Happy, Love, Bravo, Special, Happy Birthday, Dream.
To create a focal point for my card I used the Totally stamp set from Hero Arts and Basic Grey. I used black ink to stamp these to make a dramatic effect on my card.
Finally I used a stencil from Basic Grey to dry emboss my background. I’ve shared another card using this trick a few days ago here.
If you’d like to know how I made this card you can watch my video below or on Youtube in HD. Enjoy!
