Hello crafters. Today I have something very special to share with you – a crafty Advent Calendar from Spellbinders!

This is the first ever Advent Calendar by Spellbinders. The box gives you 24 different surprises. The calendar is designed so that it opens as a book giving you 24 different pockets inside. The front of the packaging gives a little hint at what’s included in the box – we have dies, stamps, embossing folders, stencils, and embellishments. It says you can create dozens of projects, just add paper and adhesives. This advent calendar is designed especially for carmakers so this makes for a great gift for yourself or your cardmaker friend. I don’t think this makes a good gift for someone completely new to the world of crafting as the calendar includes dies and embossing folders and these require a die-cutting machine and the machine is not included in the kit.

On the back of the box, we can see a bigger preview of the kit – it is shown as an open book, plus we can see some of the items included in this kit. Like a little pack of sequins, a die to create a little pick-up truck with a present tucked in the trunk, and an embossing folder (I did open my advent calendar, of course, I had to look inside and see the goodies for myself, so I can tell you that the size of the embossing folder is 1 1/2” by 5 1/2” so it is a folder to create an embossed strip or embossed border), next, there’s a nesting die set with arches, you can layer them to create a rainbow and there’s also a mini stamp set with Birthday themed sentiments.
