    1. My first craft tool was probably a corner rounder or paper trimmer. I have used several since.

    1. First I bought bras embossing stencils though I didn’t even know how to use them. Thad my scissors and ruler – I still use those 🙂

    1. Hi Yana! I think my CuttleBug was the first tool and I use it when I film my craft videos sometimes, other wise I graduated to Sizzix’s first electric push button machine and AccuCraft Grandmark machine.

    1. The first tool I bought was the Big Shot. I ordered it online and waiting ever so anxiously!! This had to be about eight years ago! Yes… I still have my Big Shot AND I also bought an extra one!! I use one to cut and one to emboss!!..

    1. Great question! I don’t recall what my first tool was, even though I’m relatively new to card making. However, the oldest tool I own is a heat embossing tool that was my mother’s from over 20 years ago! You see, I’m from Canada, but I went to college in the States. I went to a craft workshop one day, and I was shown the magic of heat embossing. At the end of the semester, I went home and shared the magic with my mom, so she went out and bought a heat tool! It’s a pink Marvy Uchida bought in 1992!!!

    1. The first tool I bought was an original Side Kick! I still use it. I progressed to a Big Kick and have had two Big Shots since also! Love die cutting papers I create myself with watercolours.
Happy New Year, I’ve loved all your inspiration in 2014.

    1. Oh my goodness….your cards are all so pretty! I couldn’t pick a favorite if I had to! Hmmmm, the first tool I ever bought was the Grand Calibur. 1. Love the cards!
I’d really have to say my first tool and favorite is simply scissors. It may take longer, but I love the unique looks I can get simply by manually cutting at the paper.

    1. My first tool was cissors that cut waves!! It was the biginning of scrapbooking LOL!! Thanks for the chance to win!

    1. Hi
The first crafting tool I bought was a Big Shot, which has been well used. I do love it but sometimes feel I would like a Grand Calibur which has a larger cutting area – maybe one day
      Pat x

    1. I go back a lot further then you. My first crafting tools were brass embossing stencils and punches. Then came the die cutting era where I fell in love with the original spellbinders and the wizard. I still love my spellbinder collection and have tons of them that I have collected thru the years. I use them on almost all of my projects. I still have my original wizard, but have updated to the Grand Calibur which out of all my manual die cutting machines, it is the most loved and used.
I have several electronic die cutters, but I still prefer spellbinders that cut and emboss. Love your blog, and just become a follower. Happy New Year and thanks for being a part of this hop.

    1. Love your work…it’s beautiful! The first paper crafting tools I bought were the circle cutter set and the oval cutter set from Memory Keepers. I bought them at the same time! I still have them but haven’t used them in a very long time!
