Hero Arts | Holiday Treat Cones

Hero Arts | Holiday Treat Cones

I have been feeling so inspired lately; with the holidays approaching fast all I want to do is decorate, decorate and decorate some more! I’d like to share a couple of easy to make holiday treat cones in this blog post. These would be perfect as little gift holders or candy holders.

I made them using a couple sheets of patterned paper from First Edition (its a UK brand) and some fun stamps and dies from Hero Arts. I used the Color Layering Wreath stamp set and stamped the wreath using 2 color of ink – Fields Green and Forever Green from Hero Arts. I just love these Color Layering stamp sets, they make it so easy to add dimension to stamped images. I also stamped a little bow in Red Royal and used matching dies to cut the wreath and bow out.

There are a few sentiment in the Color Layering Wreath stamp set that work well with the wreath, but I wanted a sentiment that would spawn across the entire wreath, so I used a different one from the Holiday Greetings set. I also added some red bakers twine to these and adhered them using a glue dot onto my treat cones.

Here’s another close up – you can see the wreath a bit better here:

    1. So very adorable! And just a perfect project I can have my 4 year old son help me with. I love any crafts I can include his help. Thank you!
