Gossamer Blue | December Projects

Gossamer Blue | December Projects

Hello, all! December is in full swing and its time I show you my projects using Gossamer Blue Kits. I planned to have them shared here much earlier, but a few things got in a way. My favorite part about December Main kit and Add-ons is the fact that they don’t have any holiday products. I have plenty Christmas-related stickers and papers already (too much, if you ask me lol!) and its nice to work with ta kit doesn’t include that.

So this month I decided to step aside from cards and create something dimensional. I stared by making a home decor framed art piece – I used a sheet of patterned paper (the background photo), trimmed it down to the size of my frame, added a bold YAY title and a simple Enjoy Life subtitle along with Today Is the Best sticker.

Several elements were popped up using foam adhesive to give this project some dimension.

I also created and decorated a few gift boxes using papers and embellishments from my kits. I used my scoring board and just scored my paper to make various size boxes. I added bits of washi tape, glitter dots and gold stickers from the kit along with some natural twine from my stash.

Lastly I made a few simple tags to go along with the gift boxes or to use with other gifts. I die cut the shapes using Spellbinders die and just decorated them using bits and pieces from December Kits.

You can find lots and lots more inspiration using December Gossamer Blue Kits in the GB Gallery. I’ll be sharing another project later this month, so stay tuned!

    1. I should say – there ARE too much holiday themed elements in December kits. Obviously it’s what is more expected, but it’s great to have an option.
Your projects are amazing. The home decor is YAY indeed. Love combination of gold and b/w.
And love your tags and boxes. You’re a wrapping queen!;)
