Card a Month: Avery Elle You Float My Boat Card

Card a month is a new monthly video series on my blog. Once a month, usually on the 2nd or 3rd Friday I share a new handmade card along with a video tutorial. I hope you’ll enjoy!

Today I’m sharing a nautical You Float My Boat card using stamps from Avery Elle and papers from Bella BLVD. I think these two products go so well together and really compliment each other. Little anchors on the dark blue paper continue the nautical theme of the tag.

To create this card I also used a holiday tag stamp from Hero Arts (I couldn’t find the name of the set the tag comes in, I think it might be discontinued) and using washi tape masked off a sentiment leaving only a tag outline. I find masking to be such a versatile technique! You can do so much with masking and just a bit of supplies.
